DRFC Membership Disclaimer 2023-2024 Season
For Playing Members:
I fully understand that rugby is a contact sport and authorize the representatives of DRFC to undertake any first aid actions they see fit, including without limitation, taking me (or children under my guardianship) to hospital in the case of an emergency (or other hospitals outside Qatar on tours or matches played outside the State of Qatar, in the case of emergency).
For Playing Members, Social Members and Volunteers:
I confirm that I have read, understood and will abide by the DRFC bylaws.
I hereby irrevocably absolve DRFC, its officers, its members, coaches and staff of all responsibility for any injuries sustained by myself (or children under my guardianship) while playing rugby (both contact and touch) either at competition level in Doha, attending a tournament overseas or locally, or during a training session. I also absolve DRFC of all responsibility for any injuries sustained whilst volunteering for DRFC in any capacity.
I grant to DRFC the right to take photographs of me whilst involved in playing rugby, training, volunteering or supporting - both home and away. I authorize DRFC, their assignees and transferees to copyright, use and publish the same in print and/or electronically. I agree that DRFC may use such photographs of me (or children under my guardianship), with or without my name and for any lawful purpose, including for example such purposes as publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content.
Data Collection and sharing:
We collect data only for the purpose of processing applications and in the case of children, for the purpose of assigning an age group. This data is not shared with anyone or sold for third party use, with the exception of Doha Sports Park. Data is shared with Doha Sport Park only for the purposes of processing memberships to their facility which is included in the membership fees of DRFC.
Code of Conduct:
Code of Conduct: 'I agree to be bound by the code of conduct of the DRFC. In addition, I will respect the players are not professionals, they are playing a game, the coaches are volunteers, the referees are human, and we are not competing for the Web Ellis Trophy'.
