Chairman’s Message

The Doha Rugby Club, or DRFC, has long been a sporting and social hub for the expat community in Qatar, with its origins stretching back more than 40 years, and over 20 years on a personal level, providing a convenient and centrally located meeting place to participate in rugby, watch the matches or simply socialise in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

With a range of playing groups, from tots, through the mini & youth to the ladies, men and vets sections, as well as the social touch league, there is something for everyone who wants to keep active, especially as DRFC offers a wider variety of options with the football pitch, netball courts and fitness classes now added to the growing list of activities available on site.

Whether your in Doha short term or for the long haul and want to stay active or simply find somewhere to meet new people and socialise with your friends, the Rugby Club is always ready to welcome members and guests, as you make the most of your time in Qatar and forge lifelong friendships.
